Today's Message: Call on Him
When facing an uncertain future, put your trust in God who never leaves us nor forsakes us. He is always there to help us in the midst of our problems and all we need to do to reach Him is call on Him.

As Christian's we are blessed to know that the presence of God is always with us through the Holy Spirit whom dwells within us. This was not always the case before Jesus came, God's presence only existed above the mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant, which was in the Tabernacle that Moses built and later in the Temple that Solomon built. After the destruction of Jerusalem, the Ark disappeared and to this day it has never been recovered. Can you imagine how lost the Israelite's must have been wondering if they would ever experience the presence of God again? Fourteen years after the destruction of Jerusalem, Ezekiel who was still a captive in Babylon, received a vision from God about a new Temple that was to be built. “
In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south. And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate. And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel.” - Ezekiel 40:2-4. This new vision looked far into the future, where Ezekiel beheld a glorious Temple, far more magnificent than the Temple built by Solomon. The measurements of the grounds and the many details concerning the building and its unusual architectural design are recorded, but no instructions are given to Ezekiel regarding who would build it or when it would be built unlike Moses and David got when the Tabernacle and Temple were to be built.

While much of this vision is unclear to us at the moment, one thing is clear, it reveals Jesus Christ, whom will build the Temple and become our high priest. “
But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” - Hebrews 9:11,12. Incidentally, Jesus became the Ultimate sacrifice and Savior to all who believe in Him. “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.” - Ephesians 5:1,2. Praise God that we no longer need to sacrifice animals! We are blessed to not have to worry about finding the Ark, or going to a special place to seek God because He dwells in each and every person who accept Christ as their Savior. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.” - Hebrews 7:26,27.

Today, we are born again, not of the flesh, but of the Spirit, free from Satan's control and have become the Lord's holy dwelling place. “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” - John 3:3-7. We can not enjoy the presence of God until we have been born again. Once we are born again the Holy Spirit will reside inside us, making us the Temple of God. And since we are born again and are the Temple of God it is vital that we refuse Satan's tempting efforts to defile Him. “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” - I Corinthians 3:16,17. Let us praise the Lord for His indwelling Holy Spirit and enjoy the sacred privilege committed to our trust.

It may seem at times that God is not with us, but He dwells in every person and all we have to do in order to know His presence is there is call on Him. When I am having a rough day I set everything aside for a moment, sit down in my chair and say, “God” and instantly I begin to feel better as I talk to Him about what I am feeling. Yes, He knows that I am having a rough day, but by me just calling on Him and talking to Him about it I am strengthening my relationship with Him as well as my trust in Him. He is always there for us, we just need to call on Him.

Have a wonderful and blessed day/night and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
God Bless You,
Christina
