Today's Message: Do Not Worry
We need not to worry about the things we are in need of, God, knows all our needs, even the ones we are unaware of, He will never stop taking care of His children.

The world values people by their possessions, the more they have the more popular they are. Many people who live in the world have no desire to serve God for one reason, greed. They do not want to give up their possessions and fear if they serve God they have to give it all away. We are all guilty, Christian's too, of the “me, myself, and I” attitude, but the truth is this. God wants us to have the things we need and even things we desire, what He does not want is for our lives to be centered around our possessions. Jesus warned about greed, also known as covetousness. “
And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.” - Luke 12:15-21. Jesus is telling us that real life has little to do with wealth, being rich with ill-gotten gains is a curse in our lives, and we will not keep those riches. It is no sin to enjoy the riches that God has given us as His blessings for following His Ways. But if our wealth is built up by the riches from the ways of the world, then those riches are not of God's blessings. We are to seek first the kingdom of God, then He adds on the blessings of the things we need; a car; a house; and so on. The only true riches comes from knowing the Father and receiving the peace of mind only He can give.

When one begins to serve God, slowly, they transform into the person that God intended for them to be, regardless of what they possess. As one grows, one learns that “I do not need this” and seeks the things that God promises, leaving much of their possessions behind. We learn that it's not what we have that matters, but what we do with what we have that matters. Jesus assures us that we never need to worry about the things we are in need of because God will always provide for us. “
Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” - Luke 12:27-34. Jesus is telling us not to spend all of our time trying to set figure out what we are going to eat and drink, and forget to discipline ourselves in the Word of God. We are all guilty in one way or another of putting too much weight on the things of our physical life, and in turn bypassing time that should be spent in the Word of God. Our spiritual growth is just as important as our physical growth. There should be a balance in the time we allocate to each. How we use our time and talents is an expression of our Christian faith. Christ taught that life is truly fulfilling by loving, serving, and giving to extend the Good News to a lost world. Regardless of how much or how little talent, or possessions we may have or acquire, as good stewards we should prayerfully consider what Jesus would have us do with them.

There is a great void in the truth of God's Word taught chapter by chapter and verse by verse, rightly dividing the Word of God. The worry that mankind is facing today has its foundation in the minds of men, and away from reality. Satan is banking on the people of our generation becoming filled with doubt and worry, so he can step in and fill that void. Sure he will give freedom from that doubt and worry, but it will be at a dear price, the sale of ones soul to him. Now is the time to prepare our minds for that day, and build our faith in the Word, and the assurances that our heavenly Father gives us in His Word. “
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)” - Hebrews 10:22,23.

Have a wonderful and blessed day/night and week.
God Bless You,
Christina
