Title: In One Accord
To be in one accord means to join together as one in agreement, no strife, no self agenda, just a group of people coming together and agreeing with one another. Now, this can be a good thing or it can be a bad thing, if we are in one accord with God or helping people in a morally way, it is a good thing, but if it is something that we are doing that is evil, especially for our own agenda, it is a bad thing. Think about it, did you ever get around a group of people that were doing bad things? You begin to do them also, even if you know they are wrong, but who is the one that ends up suffering in the end? You do. Why? Because deep down you knew that it was wrong and you would get in trouble eventually. Take the Israelite's for example, had they just trusted in God and waited patiently for Moses they would have not made the golden calf and suffered the loss of thousands of people because of it. They did not make the calf for any other reason, but their own agenda. I am sure that some of them really did not want to participate, but they got around the wrong crowd and ended up suffering because of it. People that are normally good who try to fit in with ones doing bad always are the ones who suffer first, but eventually they too will suffer, only far worse than you ever did. My ex-fiance got me into some pretty evil things, yes I got into trouble, and I suffered, but he also got into trouble and is suffering far more than I ever have. However, praise God, that we all have a second chance, sometimes third and forth, and so on to make things right. God is merciful and forgiving to all who are sincere no matter how many times we mess us. Praise God! Sadly, it takes a tragedy to make things right and to get us to be in one accord with God. Why? Well, think about it, with all the things going on in our daily lives it can be easy to forget that our loves ones need us and more importantly, we need God. In fact, the more we focus on our own agenda, the more we forget about God and those who need us. After the Israelite's suffered with the tragedy of losing thousands of people, they began to come together as one to build the Tabernacle. “
And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them........And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD's offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.” - Exodus 35:1,21. The Israelite's were in one accord and together made the items needed that would build the Tabernacle. Had they all been seeking their own agenda they would not have been able to hear God speaking to them. Sometimes it takes a death or something tragic to bring a family together in order to see that all of the bickering and anger was nonsense and it is time to come together as one and get along with each other. Of course, it is a lot harder when half of the family follows God and the others do not, but that is why God separated families, when Abraham left to go to the promised land, he was to take no one with him except his wife. My father had three sons from another marriage, all three of them are wicked, they are 3000 miles away from us. God will not even keep family members close together if it means they will get corrupted by them.

As the Israelite's built the Tabernacle, in in accord, all its furnishings were completed according to detailed specifications given by God. And all were constructed exactly as God instructed leaving no doubt that the worship of God must be in accordance with His Word. “
And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD hath commanded; The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets, The ark, and the staves thereof, with the mercy seat, and the vail of the covering, The table, and his staves, and all his vessels, and the shewbread, The candlestick also for the light, and his furniture, and his lamps, with the oil for the light,”- Exodus 35:10-14. Men and women alike made the necessary items needed and helped complete the Tabernacle. The Ark, Mercy Seat, Table of Showbread, Candlestick, Altar of Incense, and everything within the Tent each provided vital information needed and a graphic illustration of true worship of Jesus Christ the Only Begotten Son of God. It was more than a worship center, this was the place where God's spirit would dwell and the only place that the people could come to communicate with God, that is unless you were one of the select few that God had used to serve Him and be His mouth and guide others to Him. Its design and order of worship were meant to teach Israel the meaning of the Covenant made at Sinai. It was further designed to lead the believer into the Lord's presence undefiled, with heart, thought, and motives to please God, and not himself. This was only possible because the Israelite's came together in one accord to do the will of God.

Today, those who accept Jesus Christ into their lives are God's Tabernacle (His dwelling place) and just like God only communicated with the people in the Tabernacle, He only communicates with those who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. In turn, God's spirit dwells in us, making us His Tabernacle. That is why it is very important that we take care of our bodies and become in one accord with God. The only way to become in one accord with God is to know His Word so that we too can instructed others on the true meaning of the Gospel. In fact, that is our sole purpose for being here. “
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” - Matthew 28:18-20.

Enjoy the rest of your day/night and God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina
