Today's Message: Praise God!
It's easy to praise God when things are going good, but it gets harder as circumstances arise. However, when we praise God through the bad times we not only become closer to Him we also receive more blessings, including an end to our suffering.

David and his men sung as they marched forth to war, their put their confidence and trust in God to deliver them to victory.

Blessed be the LORD my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight: My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me. LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him! ........... I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee. It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.” - Psalm 1-3,9,10. We are constantly at war, even with ourselves, the flesh wants to do one thing, while the spirit tells us to do another. However, our strength come from God and when we put our trust in Him and let Him guide us He will teach us how to win the battle and always deliver us out of our struggles. Praise God!

Praising God through our circumstances helps us to see victory, the last five Psalms are all about praising God, The beginning and ending of each of these says, “Praise ye the LORD”. We are to praise God for and through all the things that happen in our lives, “Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite. The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground. Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God: Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains. He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry. He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.” - Psalm 147:1-11. We are to praise God for every victory, every trial, and every good, bad, or ugly thing that comes our way. When we seek His mercy and grace we are not only pleasing God, we are strengthening our relationship with Him as well. The more we praise Him the closer we get to Him, the more blessings we receive from Him.

Are you saved? Praise God! Can you walk? Praise God! Can you speak? Praise God! Have a job? Praise God! Have money? Praise God! Got a good mate? Praise God! Have no mate? Praise God! Have no money? Praise God! Have no job? Praise God! Can't speak? Praise God! Can't walk? Praise God! Not saved? Praise God that you are not too late and can get saved today! Whatever we are going through God uses our circumstances and even our victories for His glory and our own good. When we praise God through everything we are not only helping ourselves by increasing our faith, we are helping others increase their faith as well. “Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.” - Psalm 150. We are to praise God all day long, sing, shout, dance, praises to God and watch your spirit lift up. I can be having the worst day, but when I sing to God it lightens the burden and I am able to see some light.

These closing psalms assure us we have a loving Heavenly Father who wants to prepare His followers for eternity. To make this possible, He has provided His Word as the One True Guide that reveals how we should live to please Him. God has provided His Church as a place where we can sing praises to Him, share our testimonies with others who love Him, and receive instruction and inspiration from spiritual leaders. As Christians, we were never meant to be independent loners, but responsible members of His Church., which is none other than the Body of Christ. “That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.” - I Corinthians 12:25-28. We are the Body of Christ, together member by member we reach and teach the lost that they too can become a part of the Body of Christ.

Today's Prayer:

Dear God,
Lord, for many the circumstances in life are so uncertain. The solutions to our problems can be very perplexing and seem beyond our grasp. There are many things about tomorrow that we don't seem to understand.  However, we know Who holds tomorrow, and we do know Who holds our hand. Thank you, Lord, that You don't expect us to have all the right answers or to fully understand all that concerns us. You simply want us to trust You as we hold on to Your unchanging hand while You go before us making our paths straight. Grant us the grace to trust You more and praise You in all that we endure. In Jesus' Name.........Amen.

Have a wonderful and blessed day/night and week.
God Bless You,
Christina
