Today's Message: Soul Winning
The only command that Jesus gives to those who accept Him as their Savior is to go out into the world and teach the Gospel to the lost, also known as soul winning.

We, whom have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior have received the wonderful gift of eternal life. Regardless of how bad we have been or how bad we may be in the future, that gift will never get taken away from us. Although those whom are faithful servants of Christ walk daily with Him, it is not our works that give us eternal life, but our faith in and acceptance of Jesus Christ, the one and only begotten Son of God. Our only command, to teach the lost how they too can receive eternal life. Jesus even teaches us how we are to go out into the world (local area) and teach the Gospel. “
Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way. And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again. And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house. And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you: And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.”- Luke 10:3-9. Jesus divided seventy witnesses of the Gospel into groups of two, and sent them into every place where He had intended to go. This is the start of harvest time, and it is time to start planting the seeds of the Word. Jesus calls you His lamb for a reason, for He knows that when you are out there doing the work of the Lord, Satan and all his demonic forces will be there as raving wolves to devour you, and stop you in your tracks. Jesus knows the troubles you face, and He is there to protect you in those times of trouble.

When you go out to minister to others, the Lord wants you to focus on His work and not waste time talking to old friend, and off shopping and doing things that take away from what you were sent to do. Sure, you can greet the friends that you meet, but stay focused on the ministry you were sent out to do. Do the word, and get back. The purse is what you carry your money in, while the scrip is the begging bag. Never take a begging bag with you while are teaching God's Word, for it is a disgrace to God and on you. No servant of God has to beg.
The healing of the sick is an act of God's supernatural power, and it is done in faith. When one accepts Christ as their Savior, they are literally healed as their dead spirit is revived and becomes alive through the Lord Jesus Christ. “And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.” - I John 3:23,24.

We are healers of divisions, making every effort to be peacemakers, but not at the price of compromising biblical truth. We should not be surprised when we face opposition for living a godly life, instead we should rejoice in the high honor of suffering for His Name's sake.
See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” - I Thessalonians 5:15-23

Today's Prayer:

Dear God,
Lord,
nothing brings abiding peace more than knowing that we are saved from the penalty of sin and that we are firmly grounded in Your holy precepts. It makes us feel safe in a struggling world that continues to search for knowledge from all the wrong sources. We are sound in our outlook when we align our understanding and convictions with the teachings of Christ, His disciples and the prophets of old. We speak wisdom among those who are mature; a wisdom, however, not of this age nor from the authority of this world that changes from year to year. Our wisdom is based upon our knowledge and understanding of You, our eternal Father, the One who changes not. In You we are saved and we are sound. In Jesus' Name.........Amen.

Have a wonderful and blessed day/night
God Bless You,
Christina
