Hello My Friend/Guest,

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” -Romans 8:35-39.

We may not have all the answers or understand many of the things that are going on in the world today, but as Christian's we need not fear what is to come because God is in control. God loves His people and yes, with God's love comes trials, tribulations, and even famine. No matter what we are going through, no matter what we have done, no matter what we will do in the future, nothing will separate the believer of Christ from their God. Past, present, or future, you are God's, He is yours, and no one can take you away from God if you have Jesus Christ in your soul.

The Book of Ezekiel is the twenty-sixth book of the Old Testament/Bible and it contains forty-eight chapters. The author of the book is Ezekiel and it was written to the people of Judah. The time line for these events took place approximately between 590 BC-570 BC. The purpose of the book was to warn them of the coming captivity, then prophesy to the captives after it occurred. What we are to learn from the book is that God orders historical events so that all nations will know He is God. “
Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.” - Ezekiel 38:23. The Book of Ezekiel is a complete covering of what will happen to the children of God, in both the House of Judah, the House of Israel, and even the Jews and Christian scattered around the world today.

As a captive of the
Chaldeans, Ezekiel was forced to live far from the promised land. Ezekiel, which means, "the strength of God", or "strengthened by God", was a priest, God showed Ezekiel some amazing prophecies, the first being something rather peculiar, perhaps something we would only read in a comic book, but as Ezekiel looked up into the sky a great cloud appeared.

And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire. Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man. And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings...And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings. Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward. As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.” - Ezekiel 1:4-6,8-10.

Each one of these living creatures had four faces, the face of a man, a lion, an ox, and an eagle and four wings.
The true key for the opening of this vision is that which Jesus revealed to John in the Book of Revelation. “And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.” - Revelation 4:7,8.

T
hese living creatures, who manifestly appear to be not only worshipers of the true God, but those redeemed by the blood of Christ. The man, whom God has exalted above all the beasts, the man's face represents those sent to preach the Gospel to man. The lion being the strongest among beasts, the lion's face, represents the strength of Gospel ministers, and they have need to be strong in the grace of Christ to do the work of Christ. The ox, being among strong, yet gentle cattle, the ox's face is expressive of the patience of Gospel ministers in bearing the yoke that is upon them. The eagle, having so strong an eye, that it is able to look full and steadfastly upon the sun;, the eagles face represents the ministers showing their strong and clear sight of the Gospel, and the mysteries of it. As one, these four were prepared at all times to instantly obey the will of God and preach the Gospel in any direction He sends them, which we are all commanded to do. “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” - Mark 16:15.

The wings joined together of these living creatures represents harmony, they preach the same Gospel, administer the same ordinances, do the same work of the Lord, have the same zeal for the glory of God, the same love for Christ, They have the same affection for the souls of men, are of the same mind and judgment, and help each other in the service of the Lord, especially so it will be in the latter day glory, when the watchman shall see eye to eye, who is none other than Jesus Christ Himself. As his vision continues God reveals to Ezekiel the watchman who will send a warning message to all mankind.

Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.” - Ezekiel 3:17-21.

The warning, no amount of good or bad saves a soul from hell, the smallest sin requires the shed of blood to save that soul. No one is without sin, everyone has done something wrong in their lives at one point in time, that means we are all sinners, that means we all face eternity in hell. However, those who come before the stumblingblock, who is Jesus Christ, will be saved, redeemed by His blood that was shed. It is only by our faith in the Gospel, the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ that we are redeemed. “
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:.. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:..Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” - Romans 3:10,23,24,28.

Today's Prayer:
Dear God,
Lord, I know that doubt and uncertainty imposes fear while faith and assurance develops a calm, trusting spirit. I do not look to the unstable world for strength or encouragement but I look to Your unchanging Word where You fully assure me that nothing shall separate me from Your love. It is in Your strength and through Your power that I will remain faithful though tested by adverse circumstances. These come so that my faith is purified, proven genuine, and becomes sweeter than honey from the honeycomb. May my life bring praise, glory and honor to Jesus my Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina
