Hello
My Friend/Guest,
“Let
not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In
my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have
told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a
place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that
where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the
way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou
goest; and how can we know the way?Jesus saith unto him, I am the
way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by
me...And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another
Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even
the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth
him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with
you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will
come to you.”
- John 14:1-6,16-18.
The word comfort means to strengthen,
invigorate, and to relieve from one's troubles. The Holy Spirit is
the indwelling Comforter of every believer of Christ. It is He who
guides us into the truth concerning Christ, forms Christ’s purposes
in our hearts, and even prays through us. It is He who strengthens
us, invigorates, us and relieves us in the midst of our troubles.
Since, Jesus is the way—let us follow Him. Since, Jesus is the
truth—let us fully trust in His precious, comforting promises.
Since, Jesus is the life—let us learn to abide in Him, the source
of our spiritual life, until He comes back to receive us and take us
wherever He goes. If you do not know Christ personally as your Savior
the time is now, He is coming soon and when He does no one will be
able to comfort you.
Daniel saw visions that would be utter
nightmares for you and I, he really did not understand all that God
was showing him, but he did understand that God was with him and that
He would help him understand when the time was right. He was so
shaken up by what he saw that he literally stopped eating for three
weeks, he then fell to the ground and could not think straight,
suddenly a man appeared.
“Now
I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the
latter days: for yet the vision is for many days. And
when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the
ground, and I became dumb. And, behold, one like the similitude of
the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake,
and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my
sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength. For how
can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for
me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there
breath left in me. Then there came again and touched me one like the
appearance of a man, and he strengthened me, And said, O man greatly
beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And
when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord
speak; for thou hast strengthened me.”
- Daniel 10:14-19.
The man that touched Daniel was none other
than Jesus Christ Himself. God only gives us what we are able to
handle, but the trials of life can utterly make us so weak that we
lose our ability to reason with even common sense. Yet, just when we
think we can not go on any further Jesus gives us the strength we
need to get back up and be able to reason again. Strangely enough,
God uses affliction to give us the strength we humble ourselves
before Him. “Draw
nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye
sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and
mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your
joy to heaviness. Humble
yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”
- James 4:8-10.
There
is a movement going on today to create a one world religion, heathen
nations are literally aligning with one another to create a religion
that all mankind will be at peace with. God revealed this very thing
to Daniel, but revealed something else as well, that over time these
nations will utterly be destroyed.
“And
the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself,
and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous
things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the
indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be
done. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire
of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom
his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with
precious stones, and pleasant things. Thus shall he do in the most
strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and
increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and
shall divide the land for gain. And at the time of the end shall the
king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come
against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and
with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall
overflow and pass over..But tidings out of the east and out of the
north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury
to destroy, and utterly to make away many.”
- Daniel 11:36-40,44.
This king that will make himself to be
above God is none other than the Anti-Christ, he will deceive many
people into believing that he knows God and will drag them into his
one world religion and eventually get caught up in the battle and be
destroyed along with the Anti-Christ. “For
there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew
great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they
shall deceive the very elect...Immediately after the tribulation of
those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her
light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the
heavens shall be shaken: And
then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then
shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son
of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And
he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they
shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of
heaven to the other.”
- Matthew 24:24,29-31.
While we may not understand everything
written in God's Word, over time we will learn more and more as God
reveals it to us. God
reveals to Daniel that even though all this destruction will take
place all of His people will be safe and escape the destruction. “And
at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth
for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble,
such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time:
and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall
be found written in the book...And
I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be
the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the
words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall
be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do
wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall
understand. And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken
away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be
a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth,
and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand
in thy lot at the end of the days.”
- Daniel 12:1,8-13.
The
name Michael means, "Who is like God” our great prince and
Savior Jesus Christ
will return to judge all mankind, He will even resurrect those who
have already died to face judgment. Those who received Him are
rewarded eternal life. Those who did not receive Him will face
eternal death. “And
I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were
opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and
the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the
books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which
were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in
them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And
death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second
death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was
cast into the lake of fire.”
- Revelation 20:12-15.
Today's
Prayer:
Dear
God,
Lord, we do not have to fear the present nor future when we
place our complete confidence in You and recognize that Your plans
prevail. Daily we make our plans, but we know that You have the final
say. Help us to find comfort in You during the circumstances of life
that weaken us, knowing all the while, that You will give us the
strength and spiritual support that leads us to victory so that we
can truly proclaim from the depths of our hearts, “Jesus led me to
victory!” We love You, Lord, and pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
God
Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina
