Prayer For Diligence

Dear God,
Lord, I know that You are the rewarder of those who diligently seek You.

As I diligently seek You, by faith, I know that I will endure all my hardships.

You have gone before me and cleared the way so that I might follow in Your footsteps and the steps of other righteous, godly saints.

I am comforted in knowing that I don’t walk alone, but I walk hand in hand with You as my Guide.

Through eyes of faith I see a great cloud of witnesses, those spoken of in the Bible and those I’ve known in my lifetime, who’ve already finished the race cheering me on as I persevere in this path of righteousness.

May I endure hardship as a form of discipline and may I wholeheartedly seek You above everything else.

Prayer For Walking Faithfully

Dear God,

Lord, help me to walk faithfully with You day by day. As I earnestly seek You I will receive the reward You promise to those who do so.

Daily temptations, recurring doubts, and fleeting distractions seek my heart’s affection, but I will remain faithfully committed to You, my Lord and Savior.

Though I’ve not seen You physically Your Spirit indwells me and I am filled with Your glorious and inexpressible joy.

No matter what circumstances I face , I believe in You with all my heart, soul, mind and strength. I know that I can do and endure all things through You.

Lead me and guide me in Your will and Your way.

I love You, Lord and pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

Dear God,

Lord, You have blessed us with so much, You have given life to all who believe and receive Your Son.

We are saved only by trusting in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and He alone not only saves us from hell,

but brings us out of every mess that we have gotten ourselves into over the years without Him.

How merciful You are, how wonderful You are, to save a sinner like me.

Thank You, Jesus, and thank You God for giving me the opportunity to repent and enjoy a new found, abundant, never boring, life with You in it.

I love You Lord, and pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

Prayer For Circumstances

Dear God,

Lord, in the circumstances of life’s events, may we never lose sight of You.

You are the unseen, but ever-present God, who protects, guides and tenderly comforts us in all our troubles.

Thank You, Lord, that when change is constantly about us, You remain steadfast, faithful, and dependable.

You are the Anchor that keeps us grounded in the unseen eternal truths that we build our lives upon.

Keep us faithful and help us to always believe that nothing is possible when we diligently seek our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Prayer For Overcoming Satan

Dear God,

Lord, I want to be vigilant in equipping myself to battle the fiery darts of the wicked.

Today, I stand against Satan's schemes as I take Your armor with me, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness,

the Gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.

As I prayerfully take on this spiritual armor I am fully equipped with the necessary provisions to overcome

discouragement and defeat, in the clutches of my Savior, Jesus Christ.

Freedom From Sin

Dear God,

Lord, how glorious it is to enjoy freedom from sin, thanks to the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, on my behalf.

My life, once enslaved to sin, now enjoys the freedom from that which once held me captive to Satan’s bondage.

Let me keep serving You with love and thanksgiving, looking forward to that blessed day when I get to live with You in the Kingdom of God and later in the new holy place to come.

Thanks For Your Word

Dear God,

Lord, we are reminded that Your Word does not return void, but accomplishes that which You desire.

It is a lamp unto my feet and a light for my path.

Your Word is divinely inspired and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that I can become the godly example You chose me to be.

I am grateful for the guidance I receive daily through faithfully reading and applying Scripture to my live.

Prayer For Forgiveness

Dear God,

I know that I have done some wrong in my life, but thanks to Your mercy, grace, and Your sending Your Son to die for me that wrong is now erased from my soul because I trust and believe in Jesus Christ.

God, forgive me for subjecting my mind, body, and living soul to things that are shameful to You.

I know that You want me to live a moral life, whether it is sins I have committed by thought, mouth, or deed.

Lead me and guide me, show me the path to take that leads me to the godly, Christ filled, joyful life that brings life not only to my soul, but mind, spirit, and body too.

Prayer For Living By Truth

Lord, I pray that You will capture our minds and draw our hearts to what has been prepared for us.

May we with child-like faith keep our attention drawn to the eternal truths of Your Word.

And may these spiritual truths turn our face toward heaven.

Our future home where we will enjoy a sinless atmosphere, never-ending fellowship with our brothers and sisters and the majesty of Your presence forever.
