Fain
The word Fain means to be ready and willing.
"And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him." - Luke 15:16

Faith
The word Faith means to have a belief in, devotion to, or trust in somebody or something, especially without logical proof. When we have faith in God we are trusting Him (who we have not seen face to face) to give us the best life we can possibly have.
"O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer." - Psalm 31:23

Fallow
The word fallow means land that has undergone plowing and harrowing and has been left unseeded for one or more growing seasons, in other words, it is not in use or inactive.
"For thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns." - Jeremiah 4:3

Famine
The word Famine means a severe shortage of food resulting in widespread hunger
"And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land." - Genesis 12:10

Farthing
A Farthing is a coin that is worth a half penny.
"And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing." - Matthew 12:42

Fasting
The word fasting means to abstain from food, or some types of food. When we want to get closer to God or see a prayer answered we spend a day fasting. Instead of eating when we are hungry we pray and God feeds us.
"Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning" - Joel 2:12

Fear God
The phrase Fear God means to show respect for God, to be in awe of Him, or to fear not having His blessings upon ones life.
"And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause." - Job 2:3

Fellowship
The word fellowship means to mingle with a group of people who share common interests, goals, experiences, or views.
"And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers." - Acts 2:42

Firmament
The word Firmament means the sky which is considered an arch appearing immediately above us.
"And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so." - Genesis 1:7

First Fruits
The word First-Fruits means the first fruits and vegetables of the ground that were offered unto God.
"Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me." - Exodus 22:29

Flesh
The word Flesh has several different meanings.
1. The flesh of animals, including birds and fish, regarded as food.
2. The soft pulpy edible parts of fruits and vegetables.
3. The whole body of a person or animal.
4. Mutability and weakness

"Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth." - Genesis 8:17

Fornication
The word Fornication means to voluntarily have intercourse with someone you are not married to. Adultery is also a form of fornication.
"But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery." - Matthew 5:32

Fruitful
The word fruitful means to be productive, successful, and or profitable.
"For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you." - Leviticus 29:9

Furlong
The word Furlong is a form of measurement equal to 606 feet and 9 inches or 184.9374 meters.
"Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off" - John 11:18
