We must understand that God never wanted to end up in hell, He did make a temporary way for a soul to be redeemed, a sacrifice was required, an unblemished or spotless animal, and in most cases, it was a lamb. In order for Jesus to pay the price for us, He had to remain sinless, and because He remained sinless He was able to be the spotless lamb sacrifice required for permanent redemption. Jesus paid the price for your sin by giving His life for you.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” – Romans 5:8-10.
