Of course you are!
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16).Please do not spend your life in fear of trying to do the right thing in order to to keep your salvation, it is a gift from God through the Lord Jesus Christ and no one, thing, or act can take that away!
Of course as you grow in Christ you will learn to live a more godly life, but that does not mean that you will never make any more mistakes, you will make many more in your lifetime. Each day you grow more Christ like as long as you stay in God's Word and keep Jesus with you.
Yes, circumstances and temptations can cause a person to fall away from God, but once a person accepts Jesus into their hearts he/she is forever saved. God loves us and knows that we will at times lose focus on Him and in some cases fall away from Him all together. However, He is right there waiting for you to repent and willing to guide you back in the right direction.
Scriptures Showing You Are Forever Saved:
"But as many
as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even
to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of
the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." - John
1:13-13.
"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and
him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from
heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And
this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath
given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the
last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one
which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life:
and I will raise him up at the last day." - John 6:37-40.
"If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life." - I John 5:16-20.
"For there is no
difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is
rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the
Lord shall be saved." - Romans 10:12,13.
"Whosoever denieth the
Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath
the Father also. Let
that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If
that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye
also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that
he hath promised us, even eternal life." - I John 2:23-25.
"And this is the
record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his
Son. He that
hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not
life. These
things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of
God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe
on the name of the Son of God." - I John 5:11-13.
