Jesus Died To Pay That Price

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life." - Romans 5:8-10.

Jesus paid the price of your sin debt by dying on the cross for you. He was not born into sin, and He never sinned, therefore, He was able to be the perfect sacrifice needed to pay God's price for sin.  "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." - 2 Corinthians 5:21.

Jesus might have died that day, and was buried in the tomb, but He resurrected three days later, proving that His death would provide a permanent solution for the price owed for sin. "And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay." -Matthew 28:5,6.
