Since the theory does not rely on any evidence, the process of evolution is explained in a tale-like manner, such as, "First, single-celled organisms formed, then they clustered and formed the first cell colonies...etc.". The theory does not question how these single-celled things decide to come together to make a colony, it questions why they made such a decision and how could they be so perfectly organized. Their conclusion, Natural Selection.
How Darwin Believed Natural Selection Occurs
Natural Selection, is defined as the process in which an organism (life form), having better characteristics to adapt to environmental pressures, can survive and reproduce in greater numbers than others. This ensures that the species is preserved from extinction. Those who are not able to adapt become extinct. What this means is that Darwin believed that any life form that has stronger characteristics enabling them to adapt to the changing environment can survive and reproduce, keeping it from becoming extinct.Darwin, was partially correct in his theory, natural selection does occur naturally in nature, meaning that any living thing can learn to adapt to it's environment and can go into extinction if it can not handle the change. However, natural selection only works within a particular specie, meaning if two different breeds of the same specie were to reproduce a new breed can be produced. In no way can two separate species produce an entirely new specie. Humans evolving from ape-like creatures and apes, in turn, evolving from dog-like creatures and so on, are not possible unless nature has the capability of performing genetic engineering.
Men Trying To Play God And Fail
There have been men that actually tried to cross breed two different kinds of species, a man names Colonel Goodnight, Texas tried to cross breed a cattle and buffalo, his intentions was to make stronger cattle that were resistance to ticks, the cattloes. It turned out that he was actually able to cross the breeds, but instead of the creating a new breed he got exactly the same breeds. The animals could only reproduce either cattle or buffalo, meaning that the cattle ended up giving birth to buffalo.Another instance is the mule, this is a specie that is half horse, half donkey, this is only done because they are a similar specie. What happens though is mules are born sterile, meaning that they can not reproduce and if by chance they do they only produce a horse or a donkey, not another mule.
How Natural Selection Really Works
Adaption to The Environment:
Plants, animals, and people do adapt to their environment naturally, for example plants use a process called photosynthesis, in which plants make their own food using materials around them such as water, carbon dioxide, and sunlight. Animals produce different coats in order to adapt to the hotter or colder temperatures. People also adapt the their environment in order to withstand the hotter or colder temperatures. However, should any plant, animal, or person suddenly be exposed to extreme conditions, only the strong will survive.
Natural Selection & Breeding New Species:
The process of natural selection is not an evolutionary process, it is achieved by selective breeding of the same specie. The DNA in plants and animals allows selective breeding to achieve new breeds only within it's own specie. For example, dogs are a good example of selective breeding because the DNA in all dogs has many dormant (desirable) traits . A desired trait ca be produced in dogs with a particular trait in order to produce off spring of a different breed with that trait. This process of selective breeding can continue for generation to generation until a new breed of dog is achieved. This is the same as the "survival of the fittest" theory that Darwin claimed. Although many breeds of dogs can be developed this way, in no way can one combine dog DNA with cat DNA to develop an entirely new specie. The same process of selective breeding is done with flowers, fruits and vegetables. New variations of the species are possible, but a new species has never been developed by science. In fact, the most modern laboratories are unable to produce a left-hand protein as found in humans and animals. Evolutionist fail to admit that no species has ever been proven to have evolved in any way.
If
this theory of natural selection were true, Eskimos would have fur to keep warm, but they
don't. They are just as hairless as everyone else. If natural selection were
true, humans in the tropics would have silver, reflective skin to help them
keep cool, but they don't. They have black skin, just the opposite of what the
theory of natural selection would predict. If natural selection were true,
humans at northern latitudes would have black skin, but they have white skin
instead, except for the Eskimos with skin that is halfway between white and
black. Many evolutionists argue that melanin is a natural sunscreen
that evolved in a greater amount to protect dark-skinned people who live near
the Equator. They simply ignore the fact that dark-skinned Eskimos live north
of the Arctic Circle. Melanin in the skin is not a sound argument in favor of
evolution. The theory of natural selection is wrong because it cannot create
something in the DNA that wasn't there in the beginning.
Natural Selection by Mutation:
Truth About Mutation:
Mutations are accidental changes in the sequential structure of the genetic code caused by various random environmental forces such as radiation and toxic chemicals. Almost all true mutations are harmful, which is what one would normally expect from accidents. Even if a good mutation occurred for every good one there will be thousands of harmful ones with the net result over time being disastrous for the species. Most biological variations, however, are the result of new combination's of previously existing genes, not because of mutations.
Mutations simply produce new varieties
of already existing
traits. For example, mutations in the gene for human
hair may change the
gene so that another type of human hair develops,
but the mutations won't
change the gene so that feathers or wings develop. Sometimes mutations may trigger the duplication
of already existing
traits (i.e. an extra finger, toe, or even an entire
head, even in another
area of the body!). But mutations have no ability
to produce entirely new
traits or characteristics.
The Wide Variety of The Human Race:
Many people question how
all the varieties and
races of people could have descended from Adam and Eve, well, the simple answer is this, it's all in the genes. They carried along with them the genes that enabled them to produce descendants of different races. Today, we may carry some genes from several different races which in turn produces children that may have characteristics that seem a little odd between parents, but rest assure, this is nothing abnormal.
Incidentally, after the flood, Noah's family, who is a decedent of Adam and Eve, produced all of mankind. "And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth." Genesis 9:1. Several different races were produced out of only eight people, which can mean only one thing, the more off spring the more races were produced.
As for why there are so many different languages, God has an answer for that too, "And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And
they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them
thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for
morter. And
they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may
reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered
abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And
the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one
language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained
from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech." - Genesis 13:1-7. God made several different languages, for one simple reason, to keep the Godly from being corrupted by the ungodly.
